Live one-to-one coaching

Somebody notices when you stop showing up.

Gymbile puts you with an online coach who understands what you're working towards — and helps you keep going on the weeks you'd rather not.

First session often free. No card to start.

What I was really paying a trainer for was someone who notices when I stop showing up.

The drop-off

Sound familiar?

You've started before. Maybe your trainer never really adjusted to what you needed, or you moved, or your health got in the way. And once you've missed a week or two, getting back is harder than starting was in the first place.

Week 1–3

Week one you're all in. By week three the kit's still in the bag by the door.

Week 5

Nobody says anything. An app won't chase you, and the reminder gets swiped away.

After

You decide it isn't a priority — not worth the money or the effort. And the goals you had years ago are still sitting exactly where you left them.

Every one of them could tell us exactly when they fell off. And every one said the same thing — nobody was paying attention.

Some days I'm lazy and I skip. With a real person waiting for me, I wouldn't.

How it works

Gymbile is the thing that notices.

It reminds you to keep going and keeps your motivation up. And it isn't just a calling tool — it's an all-in-one app built so the experience stays seamless for you and for your coach.

  1. 1

    It spots you going quiet

A missed session, a week off — the bit where you'd normally quietly stop.

  2. 2

    Your coach hears about it

While there's still time — before you've drifted far enough that going back feels embarrassing.

  3. 3

A nudge from a real person

Not a push notification you'll swipe away. Someone who knows what you're working towards.

All in one app

What's included.

Everything else you'd expect, in one place — so the only thing you have to think about is turning up.

  • One-to-one with your coach on your phone, at the gym, at home or in the park. A connection and headphones are all you need.

Your coach watches you move and corrects your form as you go, with the session timer on screen. You can also join from a browser if your phone isn't to hand.

  • Send a meal photo or a quick question and hear back before your next session.

Photos, videos and voice notes all work, so you can show your coach a meal or a movement you're unsure about. It's the same coach every time, and they already know your plan.

  • Book in your own time zone, wherever your coach happens to live.

Your coach's free slots show up in your local time, so a coach in another country is as easy to book as one down the road. Move or cancel a session in the app if plans change.

  • No subscription. You pay for the sessions you book, and plenty of coaches make the first one free.

Card payments go through Stripe, and nothing is charged until you book. Once you know you're sticking with someone, a package deal brings the price of each session down.

  • Built around your goals and your data, and checked against our WPL safety standard before you see them.

Workouts, nutrition, recovery and habits, laid out week by week. If you train with a coach, they can adjust any day as you go.

  • Save on a block of sessions once you know you're sticking with it.

You see exactly what you save against paying for each session. Every package says how long its sessions stay valid, so nothing runs out by surprise.

  • Every coach sets clear cancellation terms, so you know where you stand if plans change.

Terms come in tiers, say free up to a day before and a fee after that, and Gymbile applies them automatically. On a package, a cancelled session can be given back if your coach's rules allow it.

  • Choose a coach for what they're good at, not for who happens to be nearest.

Filter by training type, read their reviews and look at their packages before you get in touch. Plenty make the first session free, so trying someone costs nothing.

“It's so much easier than fitting around each client and travelling across town.”

FAQ

The things people actually ask.

Something else? Ask our team — a real person answers.

How do I find a trainer?

Tap the Explore icon — the green globe in the top right corner — and browse coaches matched to what you're working towards.

How much does training cost?

Every coach sets their own price, and a first free session is often available. Look at their packages too — most discount larger blocks of sessions.

How do I train over a phone? Does that really work?

It does — we ran one-to-one sessions over a phone for more than a year before we were happy to say so. You need three things: your phone, an internet connection and headphones.

The phone props against almost anything in a gym — a dumbbell, a water bottle. Some people prefer a tripod, but it isn't necessary.

I'm not ready to pick a trainer. I just want to try on my own.

That's completely fine — we've got you. Gymbile will suggest and guide your daily training from your own data, with insights as you go. When you're ready, the catalogue's there, and a first session is often free.

What kind of training works over Gymbile?

Anything where you can set your phone camera up and have a bit of space around you — functional training, strength work in the gym, yoga, pilates. Nutrition and wellness coaching work particularly well too. You'll find the full list of training types in the app.

What if I go quiet for a while?

Your coach hears about it and gets in touch — before you've drifted far enough that coming back feels awkward. And if you decide you're done, that's your call; nobody will badger you.

Can I pause while I'm away?

Check with your trainer before you go. They'll have their own cancellation policy, and some package deals run out after a set time — so make sure you're not paying for sessions you won't be there to use.

Give them enough notice and they can reschedule your sessions or pause your subscription.

Something's gone wrong with my trainer. What do I do?

Get in touch as soon as you can. Our team will look at the situation carefully and come back to you with the options.

I'm not sure what to do next.

Get in touch through support and we'll get you sorted.

Find someone who'll notice when you don't show up.

Have a look at who's out there. Plenty of coaches make the first session free, so you can find out if you get on before anything changes hands.
